Things To Do In Antibes


Attend Jazza Juan Festival

Lovers of jazz music will not hesitate to come to this place. This music festival is held every July. Newcomers get to show their talents. Tourists are welcomed and they get a chance to experience jazz music culture. Ray Charles, miles Davis and Dizzy Gillespie are some of the legends that have performed here. Many cultures from American, African, and Latin to Cuba are represented.

Fort Carre

Reach to this amazing place. This fort is built on a 26 meters rock. Four beautiful parkland hectares with Mediterranean flora and fauna surround this fort. Port Vauban is on the south of fort Carre. From the top of the fort you will have a spectacular 360 degree view of the whole city.
Visit Cathedral Notre Dame

Antibes too has a church. This cathedral is Antibes largest church. The rose colored façade are pleasing and breathtaking. Entrance to the church is found in the middle of the old town. Once you enter the church, you get to have a pleasing view of the beautiful paintings and artwork on the walls.

Tour to villa Thuret botanical gardens

From the city, move to this aesthetic garden full of different plant species. Eucalyptus tree from Australia is also present here. Visit an arboretum that has collection of many shrubs and trees. This garden attracts both the tourists, conservers of the flora and the scientists to carry out research.

Visit Villa Eilenroc

Feel the beautiful aroma from the roses here. Eilenroc villa has a rose garden hosting many varieties of roses. Stroll through a path from this garden to Garoupe bay. Have a walk as you admire views along cap d’ Antibes coastline.

Explore Archaeology Museum

This is mainly for those that value history and archaeology much. Ceramics, coins and mosaics are the main pieces found here. This museum hosts pieces that date Antibes as an ancient Greek settlement and later a roman city.

Discover a hilltop Biot village

Drive for about 7 kilometers from Antibes and you will reach this beautiful village with steep, narrow streets and winding paths. Enjoy the village art gallery and boutiques. People in this village are known for their art and craft, gold and silver work, ceramic, wood carvings and weaving. 

Antibes has so many areas you can visit. It can be a day tour or a long time tour but you cannot exhaust them.
